Disclaimer & Release

In consideration of learning the techniques involved in the Realistic Safety Solutions Reality Realistic Safety Training, Releasor, for himself or herself and personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue REALISTIC SAFETY SOLUTIONS, LLC, its members, officers and employees, referred to as the Releasee, from all liability to the Releasor, his or her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for all loss or damage, and any claim or damage, on account of injury to the person or property of or resulting in death of the Releasor for participating in the training or utilizing the recommended avoidance, psychological, verbal, physical or defensive implement techniques.

Releasor agrees to indemnify the Releasees and each of them from any loss, liability, damage or cost Releasees may incur due to the presence of Releasor in or about the area of training, unless caused by the negligence of some third party. Releasor assumes full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death or property damage while in or on the area of training and/or while participating in training.

Releasor expressly agrees that this release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the United States of America, and that if any portion of the agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

Releasor understands that due to the amount of training, practice and experience required by each individual to carry out the techniques in the training and coursework that Releasor is responsible for his or her results outside of the educational materials or training sessions.

Releasor does for himself or herself, his or her heirs, personal representatives, administrators, and assigns, releases and discharges REALISTIC SAFETY SOLUTIONS, LLC from any and every claim, demand, action or right of action, of any kind or nature, either in law or in equity arising from or by reason of any bodily injury or personal injuries known or unknown, death and/or property damage resulting or to result from any accident which may occur as a result of participating in training or coursework.

Releasor further releases all officials and professional personnel form any claim on account of first aid, treatment or services rendered to him or her during the participation in the training or coursework offered by REALISTIC SAFETY SOLUTIONS, LLC This release contains the entire agreement between the parties to this agreement and the terms of this release are contractual and not mere recital.

Realistic Safety Training & Seminars

When you attend an Realistic Safety Training Seminar you will be learning a comprehensive set of psychological, verbal, physical and defensive weapon techniques. While we believe strongly in the techniques we teach, there is no way for us to guarantee your safety. Therefore, we operate under the disclaimer and release setforth below.

If you attend an Realistic Safety Seminar, you may participate in some basic physical defense exercises which are always optional and voluntary. These exercises are to improve muscle memory and are not contact based. Therefore, the risk of injury is minimal. You will also be learning about defensive weapon options such as pepper spray, tasers and improvisational options. We take every possible safety precaution and we never handle or practice with operational models. However, even though the risk is minimal, the disclaimer and release below indemnifies us from liability for any injury that may occur during training and/or as a result of the training.

It is important that you understand that the techniques we teach should be used in accordance with all municipal, state and federal laws that apply. In addition, no part of our education and training constitutes legal advice. Please consult an attorney for legal advice.
